The Peru team is currently in their third year of construction of a gravity-fed potable water system servicing a rural community of over 120 families. In the summer of 2018, the team connected homes in the community with over 6 km of pipeline, bringing water to an estimated 200+ people.

The Kenya team is preparing to implement a borehole in two different communities this summer in the Kuria West district and also plans to assess the state of a water distribution plant in the area to potentially refurbish it in the future.

In Summer 2017, the DR team successfully resolved a major leak in the community’s water distribution system. This year the team will redesign part of the water system to resolve distribution inefficiencies and install a chlorination system to provide clean, safe water to El Cajuil.
