Hydraulics Team: Responsible for mapping the pipeline routes with hydraulic modeling software and calculating the optimal pipe parameters. This will ultimately include determining the necessary pipe length and diameters based on HGL calculations, as well as the number and location of pressure breaks required in the system.
Structural Team: For each system component, determine the most appropriate design and calculate material requirements, finally modeling with CREO software. System components include the source capture, spring box, reservoir, distribution boxes, valve boxes, and tapstands.
Community Team: Create and translate user manual for the water system and legal forms. Strengthen our relationship with the community by developing educational material and lesson plans. Work with in-country partners to monitor and collect necessary information
Financial Team: Create calendar for grant deadlines, research new grants that our team can apply for, write/edit team grants, manage finances of team, develop a cost calculator for the system
Publicity Team: Manage Facebook page, send out email updates about fun team events outside, responsible for making posters, organizing/taking photos at events. Creating the video from this past summer’s implementation trip
