Princeton Reunions 2014 Event

Soccer and Sustainability: A Survivor's Story

Friends of EWB-Princeton are cordially invited to join us on Friday, May 30th at 3pm in Robertson Hall, Bowl 016 to hear Mr. Ethan Zohn - former professional soccer player, winner of the hit reality television show Survivor: Africa in 2002, and competitor on Season 19 of The Amazing Race - speak about his humanitarian work.

As some World Cup soccer enthusiasts and philanthropists may know, Mr. Zohn is the co-founder of Grassroots Soccer, an organization that harnesses the power and appeal of soccer to teach African youth about HIV/AIDS prevention.  A motivated humanitarian, a cancer survivor, and the author of multiple books, Mr. Zohn is an inspiration to many.

From 3pm to 5pm.  The speaker portion of the event will be followed by a reception in Bernstein Gallery (in the basement of Robertson Hall, outside Bowl 016).  Click here for the event poster.

Sponsored by Princeton University's Engineers Without Borders student chapter and the Keller Center for Innovation in Engineering Education.
